“Di Nigunim's borrowed trailer was stolen in Chicago on Sunday night,” the band wrote in a Facebook note dated June 14.
“Within it was Aaron's drum set, Andy Campa's guitar amp, Robert Martin's bass head and cab, and our p.a. speakers. The show tonight at Trumbullplex in Detroit will most likely be our last of the tour. We are doing our best to get back home though it may take a while.
"We have copies of the new album Harrumph! for sale with personally screened covers. $5 (don't fret, if you don't have the money it can be downloaded for free). We also have three T-shirt designs in various sizes, $7. Stickers and patches as well. Upon our return they can be shipped anywhere. Let us know, paypal address will be provided ([email protected]). If you are in San Diego, we have folks that can collect funds from you and send them directly our way. We will be fine, but anything helps.”
Di Nigunim is a local ten-member Anarcho-Klezmer Punk band who has “no political agenda, but we try to do our part when we see a positive opportunity and direction to head in… We basically support all forms of protest that oppose, disrupt, or smash our fascist corporatocracy, war machine, racism of all types, homophobia, and other intolerant plagues, whether it tears at the roots of the system or helps the victim of domestic abuse in your neighborhood take back her freedom.”
