The song sampled Todd Rundgren’s 1973 hit “Hello It’s Me” in a ‘verby jam which Pitchfork called “balmy and inviting, despite its narrative about a drunken love interest's sloppy evening.”
Now, the track is all but obsolete after Rhino Entertainment, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, issued notices to websites to remove the song last month.
With the addition of Joel Williams (DUDES, D/Wolves, KYNAN), TV Girl released their Benny and the Jetts EP last night via Facebook.
