Bridgepoint Education is working on that old public image. The San Diego based education company was a hot topic for national news when it came under fire from the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions committee.
A nice benefit we can all reap from Bridgepoint's public relation woes is a free concert in Balboa Park from the San Diego Symphony. Bridgepoint is the primary sponsor.
The concert is Sunday, July 10 at 5:30 pm. at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion.
The symphony will be playing pieces by Saint Saens, Copland, Mussorgsky, John Williams, and others. The concert program is designed to appeal to all ages and is themed around the various museums in the park.
I'll definitely be there with my chirn and hope there is a great turn out. Of course, I'll make sure my kids and I are far enough away from the serious patrons so we can run around, laugh, and enjoy the music in a physical manner that isn't just sitting on our butts and scowling.
Here are links to some of the pieces that will be played.
