A Mysterious Death in Alpine
Another body found by the freeway, this time in East County
1200 Alpine Boulevard, Alpine
March 16, 6:00 p.m.
Sheriff’s Dept.
Three teenage boys were jogging when they came upon the body of a female just off the shoulder of the roadway.
One of the boys used his cell phone to call his father, who happens to be a San Diego police officer. The father responded to the boys’ location. He checked the body of any signs of life. There was none. He notified the paramedics and Sheriff’s deputies.
On the scene, paramedics pronounced the woman deceased at 6:37 p.m.
The female is described as an adult with dark hair. The Sheriff's Homicide Unit is working on identfying the victim.
