Another shooting, another homicide...
200 55th Street, Valencia Park
January 27, 11:19 a.m.

A concerned citizen called police and reported that someone was shot. Officers arrived and found Raymond Shields, 49, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics transported Shields to a trauma center, where he died at 12:07 a.m.
To date, there is still no known motive for this homicide. SDPD detectives do not know where Shields was shot before he collapsed on 55th Street.
