Foul play in tailer park demise brings in the Crime Lab.
1219 East Barham Drive, San Marcos
January 23, 12:30a.m.
Sheriff’s Dept.
Deputies from the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station went to the Casitas del Sol Mobile Home Park to check on the welfare of a 75 year-old female, whom relatives had not heard from since Saturday, January, 19.
When entry was made into the residence, the body of Mimi Rohwer was discovered. The Medical Examiner’s Office was notified and responded to the scene.
Preliminary examination of the body raised suspicion that the death of Rohwer might be the result of foul play. It was at that point the Sheriff’s Homicide Detail was notified.
Actively involved in the investigation are detectives from the Sheriff’s Homicide Detail, the Crime Lab and the San Marcos Station.
