Officers and paramedics were dispatched to a report of a non-breating babby at a daycare provider in Golden Hill. The infant was a 10-month-old baby girl he infant, identified as Hailey Caidence Reese. Officers arrived to find a male performing CPR on the infant. Paramedics took over and transported the child to Rady’s Children Hospital.
The baby died at 7:24 p.m. Her parents live in Linda Vista.
The death appears to be suspicious, because the infant was healthy, and is being handled by the SDPD Homicide Unit.
