The male victim was walking south on Mission Boulevard when he and his companions witnessed a fight in front of Ramiro’s Taco Shop. Members of the victim’s group helped break up the fight.
The victim and his buddies continued walking, this time east on Garnet Avenue. They were confronted by the suspect, an Asian male who was in the fight. The suspect asked loudly, “Who pushed me?” The suspect pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the victim and fired three shots. The suspect fled on foot, going west on Garnet and got into a dark-colored Chevy S10 pick-up truck that was waiting for him.
The suspect is described as an Asian male, 5’8” to 5’11”, 150-170 pounds, slim build, dark brown hair that is flat on the sides and spiked on the top.
