Investigation has revealed that the victim had been out for the evening and had just arrived at the apartment (with his wife and several friends) just prior to the shooting. The victim’s wife and friend were in another room when they heard gunshots. The victim’s wife stepped into the living room to find her husband on the ground. The suspect, armed with a handgun, was still standing in the doorway. The suspect fired at the victim’s wife, missing her, before fleeing on foot.
