East County Killer Fugitive
Another parolee on the run for murder.
1344 Oakdale Ave, El Cajon November 2, 9:43 p.m. ECPD 32.802053, -116.933582
El Cajon Police Homicide Unit working, with the San Diego County Crime Stoppers, is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate a subject wanted for questioning in a recent homicide.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting. They arrived and found a 37-year old male victim who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital where he later died from his wounds.
Preliminary investigation has revealed the victim was fighting with two suspects in the parking lot of his apartment complex. During the altercation the two suspects produced handguns and fired multiple shots at the victim.
At least one round struck the victim.
As a result of the investigation Jennaro Eugene Harvey has been identified as a person of interest. Harvey is currently a Parolee At Large (PAL) and is wanted for questioning regarding this murder. Harvey is described as a 37 year old black male, 5-09, 175, with brown eyes, black hair, and a goatee. He also has multiple tattoos on his chest, back, and arms.
Anyone with information on the location of Harvey is asked to call ECPD Detective Holmes at (619) 579-3341; or you can remain anonymous by calling the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-TIPS.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the suspects in this case. Collect calls are accepted and callers may remain anonymous. Questions regarding the Homicide should be directed to A/Lt. Frank LaHaye at (619) 579-3330.
