An injured male, 35, was in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Officers arrived and found this male to be dead. The male appeared to have suffered trauma to his head and upper body.
Preliminary investigation revealed that there was a previously unreported traffic accident involving a pedestrian at 4200 Euclid. Based on evidence located at the traffic accident scene, it was determined that the dead male was the victim of the accident, and was struck by two different vehicles.
The victim’s body was then transported to the apartment building “and dumped,” according to Lt. Manny Guaderrama of the SDPD Homicide Unit.
The first vehicle to hit the victim was described by witnesses as a mid-size red or maroon pick-up, similar to a Nissan, with a Hispanic driver. “The vehicle should have heavy front end damage,” states Guaderrana, The second vehicle was describe to be a yellow taxi cab.
