Case of the PB Corpse
Is it a homicide or a case of too many cases consumed?
4300 Ocean Boulevard, Pacific Beach December 9, 8:25 a.m. SDPD 33.212453, -117.303344
Officers responded to a report of a dead body in the parking lot of a restaurant in Pacific Beach. Upon arrival it was obvious the male, 41, on the ground was indeed deceased, and appeared to have suffered trauma to the head.
At the time, the cause of death was unknown, but because of the nature of the victim’s injuries and the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, Homicide is conducting the investigation.
On December 11, however, the Medical Examiner’s Office determined the death to be caused by alcohol poisoning rather than the head trauma.
The investigation continues…
