Man finds roommate dead on the floor.
266 Lado de Loma, Vista November 29, 1:55 p.m. Sheriff’s Dept. 33.1968, -117.244023
Deputies responded to a call of a person not breathing. A male adult, later identified as a resident of the house, directed police and paramedics to the location of this person, a male.
The male was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Christopher Allen Kellerher, 40.
The deceased’s roommate said he came home and discovered the body lying on the bedroom floor. After several unsuccessful attempts to revive the victim, he called 911.
Paramedics discovered at least one wound, believed to be caused by a firearm. A handgun was discovered inside the house; it is not known if this gun was involved.
San Diego sheriff's detectives are investigating whether this case is a homicide, suicide, or an accidental misfire of a gun.
The victim is survived by his wife, Katherine Kellerher.
