The Titans travel to Lincoln in a matchup that won’t be short on athleticism. Last season, the Titans and Hornets turned in one of the most exciting games of the season, a 35-35 thriller that Eastlake led 28-8 after the first quarter.

Can a September game have state bowl implications? It can when it features two of the best small school programs in Southern California. The Lancers and Tartans sport a combined 53-5 combined record over the last two seasons and represented the south in each of the two state bowl games. Revenge will be on the minds of the visitors from Orange County – last year the Lancers handed St. Margaret’s their first and only loss since 2005.

Valhalla delivered one of the most surprising performances of the opening weekend, a 38-0 win over defending Division IV champ Mission Bay. Can the Norsemen keep it going against a former league foe?
