Tijuana man, deported from the US, kills his baby daughter because she was crying

Translated by Fulano from an article in El Mexicano.

TIJUANA - Irving and Laura are in jail. He is responsible for the death of his two-month old daughter, who he beat with the consent of his spouse.

The Deputy Prosecutor Attorney Against Organized Crime, through the homicide unit, determined that both are responsible for the death of their baby, Clara Bravo Ramírez.

The baby died last Friday, November 16. She arrived almost lifeless at the General Hospital aboard a Red Cross ambulance.

The crime occurred at house Number 4, located on avenida Benito Juárez in eljido Lázaro Cárdenas, when Irving Bravo Fierros, alias "El Wiked," originally from Nayarit and 27 years old, was alone at the home with his daughter.

According to the ministerial police agent's investigation, it was at 7:30PM when his wife, Laura Ramírez Olvera, 22, and her 3-year old daughter left the house.

Claudia woke up and started to cry. This disturbed "El Wiked," who went to the bed where the baby lay and hit her on the head with the knuckle of the middle finger on his right hand.

But this did not stop the baby from crying, on the contrary, there were more cries. He returned to hit her again and then put a baby bottle in her mouth to stop her from crying.

The mother returned home and asked Irving if the baby had awakened, to which he said she had not. But, she went to the bed and saw the child in a serious condition.

After determining the cause of death of the baby, medical authorities reported the case to the Public Prosecutor, whose Ministerial Police agents arrested the couple. They confessed that it was not the first time that Irving beat the baby and the other three-year old child.

In the autopsy report, the pathologist determined that the baby died due to brain damage.

It should be noted that Irving Bravo Fierros was deported from the United States in 2007, where he was arrested for possession of drugs and car theft.
