After all these years, the Cohns have lost their lease on Kemo Sabe, and are moving out. (Eventually, they may relocate it to North County.) They'll be expanding Restaurant Week ($30 for 3 courses) to the end of the month. Then comes the final party, with free food. (Fridge-clearing time!). I"ll just copy their press release about that:
"On Saturday, October 2nd we invite you to join us for a Farewell Party from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Please share our final farewell, come in and celebrate with Shawn's famous Lemon Drops. Chef Deborah will tray pass some of her favorite appetizers like Nut Crusted Fried Brie with Honey Roasted Garlic and Jalapeno Jelly, and of course Skirts on Fire! The food will be on us!
