Many of us had high hopes when chef Amy Di Biase (ex of Roseville) took over the kitchen at the Glass Door. Well, it's a very tiny kitchen, and she's gone already. No word yet on her replacement. The place really needs a good chef to live up to its lovely view.

I love the artesanal cuisine of Christian Graves at J-Six, and right now there’s a special, daily from 5:30 – 6 p.m. and 9:00 – 9:30 p.m.: Half size portions of entrees for half-price. (All you lose is the doggie-bag. Poor Shep!) And from now until Labor Day, you can get free corkage when you BYO wine to dinner.
