Jobs in food services and drinking places declined 3.8 percent in the month, while employment services dropped 6.3 percent. Over a full year (compared with January of last year), construction jobs dropped 12.8 percent, auto dealers and parts jobs declined 11.8% and department store employment 11.4%.
