In an earlier post, I reported that Gary, an experienced lawyer who made a bundle practicing in San Diego, had joined the city attorney's office, but it was not known if he was receiving remuneration. "He is doing misdemeanor stuff -- DUIs," says his brother. I asked why an attorney with such experience, including a highly-publicized stretch at the Securities and Exchange Commission, would want to do misdemeanors.
