33 on 3/3

Earlier this month, I wrote a five-piece summary of a trip to five Vista breweries. My first stop was to one that hadn’t even opened yet. It’s called Latitude 33 Brewing Company and turned out to be one of the most interesting and promising of the bunch. At least that was my opinion. Come March 3, the rest of the world will get to weigh in when the brewery opens the doors to its tasting room for the first time.

Headed by former Back Street Brewery and Alpine Beer Co. brewer Kevin Buckley, Latitude 33 will become Vista’s sixth operating brewhouse. The grand opening will take place from noon to 9 p.m. In addition to beer, it will feature guest food trucks and giveaways every hour on the hour. Prizes include various SWOG (Stuff Winners Only Get) including pint glasses and t-shirts.

Following the opening, the tasting room will be open Thursdays and Fridays from 3 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. For more information on Latitude 33 Brewing Company, check out their website, or refer to my previous post.
