This is the array as shown and priced at Jessica's Biscuit, which I consider the best cookbook source in the USA.

Salted $21.00 (40% off)
The Essential New York Times Cookbook $24.00 (40% off)
Stir Frying to the Sky's Edge $21.00 (40% off)
Paula Deen's Savannah Style $14.99 (50% off)
I bought the NYT Cookbook as soon as it came out -— it's just something any serious cook needs to have at hand. It's always been more sophisticated than "Joy of Cooking,"(at least in the latter's earlier incarnations) but the Times has also always included great regional foods: The paper was the first to introduce Buffalo Chicken Wings to America, for instance. As for NOMA, this is a restaurant in the far northern wilds of Scandinavia that specializes in foraging for local wild foods. And Bouchon is Thomas Keller's casual bistro in Napa County, so presumably this cookbook has some approachable, do-able receipes (although they'll probably take some time to put together.) I have nothing to say about Paula Deen. Really, nothing.
