Child Thief Detained in Tecate (El Mexicano, 1/22/13 by Armando ACOSTA ROJAS)
Tecate, BC - Elements of the Municipal Police detained a child under 16 years for theft from a household. The young man entered a residence located on Calle 16 de Deptiembre in Colonia Libertad. It was thanks to the report of the owner of the house that police began a search operation.
According to the version of the victim, he came home and noticed the presence of someone inside, who he saw with a black backpack and camera in hand, heading toward Colonia Primero de Mayo.

Women Stole Batteries (El Mexicano, 1/20/13 by Fernando ESCOBEDO CAMACHO)
Ensenada, BC - Near Calles Norberto Corella and Calafia in Colonia Rosas Magallón, it was reported to municipal officials that two people were holding a woman for the theft of batteries, so elements of the northern police station were dispatched.
On arrival, they met with the complainants who said that moments before they had experienced the theft of vehicle storage batteries and observed Sonia González Cárdenas, 45, carrying a battery with similar characteristics as the ones that were stolen, so officials detained her. Questioned on the issue, the victim said the batteries were stolen from a minibus and another battery from a microbus at his house.
