ENSENADA, BC - A Municipal Police Agent, Paul Fernando Enciso Contreras, 22, lost his life early today after receiving a bullet in the head with his own gun, apparently accidentally.

The bullet struck him in the left temple apparently at the home of some friends located at number 217 Calle Quintana Roo in Colonia Revolución.

Violent Villain Detained (EL MEXICANO, 1/21/13 by EDUARDO VILLA)

MEXICALI, BC – A violent vermin who committed a crime against a currency exchange was secured by members of the Municipal Police belonging to grupo “Águila”, but the accused was found with neither the weapon nor the amount stolen, during actions in the State capital.

The events occurred around 08:20 hours at the "Super Cambio" establishment located on Avenida Ignacio Zaragoza at Carretera San Luis Rio Colorado in Ejido Puebla, where according to the victim; a subject arrived at the business in a white 1990 Nissan pick-up with California plates AN26468.

The man exited his vehicle and with a shotgun in his hand slowly walked up to the window where he surprised the cashier seeing the enormous barrel of the gun and for a few seconds did not hear the first number of threats that the aggressive subject made towards her. When she managed to react, the employee simply began to take all the money that was in boxes that was about 34,500 pesos ($2,728 US), which she handed to him without looking away from the weapon.

With the loot, the bandit fled, according to the victim in a Pearl Nissan Xtrail station wagon with plates AJM2966. With the information given by the victim a search operation was implemented and police were able to locate said vehicle. The driver was stopped almost immediately and officers began to question him, telling him the vehicle had been used minutes earlier in a crime. In a review the vehicle belongs to Fidel "n" 28 years of age, which according to the authorities, was not found with neither the gun nor the stolen amount, but anyway was placed under arrest.
