Rosa Anaya Meets Families at Cereso Mexicali (Uniradio Informa, 1/12/13)

Mexicali, BC - Giving attention to relatives to ensure income and review protocols are suitable for quick entry of their visits to the Center of Social Reintegration (Cereso) of Mexicali facilities, was the reason Daniel de la Rosa Anaya, Secretary of Public Security of the State, toured there on Saturday.

The Secretary of Public Safety in the State personally attended to relatives of inmates in order to listen to their requests and concerns and continue with implementation of protocols that facilitate the entry of visitors inside, but also to ensure security of the criminals inside since in many cases they have detected illicit substances trying to be introduced through food.

Rosa Anaya spoke with relatives of inmates who explained that he is working on the dignification of the internal spaces but also for relatives, this with the purpose that have suitable spaces for visit days seeking to strengthen the values that produce family union. He said that soon they will implement new technologies for checking food, clothing and hygiene articles thereby expediting the entry of family members to the interior to be with the criminals.

He also verified the operation system of Integral Control of Units of Supply (SICUA) which provides greater control and transparency to eliminate problems with the process of exchange vouchers for the sale of products and food internally using a biometric authentication scheme. In addition to listening to the relatives, the head of SSPE attended to the petitions of inmates, with the intention of saying to inmates as well, the rehabilitation programs are working properly.

No doubt the transformation of the penitentiary system in Baja California in the current administration of Governor Jose Guadalupe Osuna Millan has positioned the entity as a reference for the nation, which is reflected by the creation of space and reduction of overcrowding in prisons. http://www.uniradioinforma.com/noticias/bajacalifornia/articulo168468.html

Pediatric Consultations for Respiratory Disease Increase 30% (Uniradio Informa, 1/13/13)

TIJUANA, BC - During this season of low temperatures in the region consultations have increased by 30% for respiratory disease in children, reported Pediatrician Juan Carlos Díaz Rocha, in charge of Pediatric consultations at General Hospital of Tijuana.
