La Paz, BC Sur - Three young people including a minor committed an assault carrying pistols in the early Sunday morning hours at a gas station located at calles Pino Payas and Villa Sauce taking 7,400 pesos ($585 US) and a cell phone.
The violence was reported at 1:20 minutes a.m., when Pablo Alejandro Salas Chavez, 19, and Frederick Jackes Mejia, 22, accompanied by Kelvin “n”, a 17 year-old teenager were armed with a semi-automatic 45-caliber pistol and two AK-47 assault rifles went to the service station at Pino Payas and threatened the cashier taking the money and phone.
After completing their felony, the violent trio fled in a brown Chevrolet Astro. The victim wasted no time once he felt safe in reporting the crime to emergency number 066, initiating a unit an operating in the zone to respond. After a brief but dangerous pursuit, the suspects were arrested.
Police agents managed to intercept the suspect vehicle at calles de Unión and Bandera Nacional in colonia Diana Laura and following an on-site inspection of the Chevrolet, the uniformed officers noticed that in the back seat, the alleged assailants had an arsenal that included a 45-caliber semi-automatic with two ammo clips and five cartridges, two AK47 assault rifles supplied with two ammo clips, as well as two bags with 33 45-caliber cartridges, in addition to cash.

San José de el Cabo, BC Sur - Wrapped in a blanket that barely covered it from the unforgiving cold, was left an abandoned newborn baby on the doorstep of a house located in Josefino Santos Degollado at calles Margarita Maza de Juárez and Coronado.
On Saturday morning, Don Juan Ramírez López was tremendously surprised to find at the door of his residence a tiny child wrapped in a green and white blanket. Immediately after protecting baby from the frigid climate, he contacted municipal authorities.
Cabenos agents went to the house of Don Juan and gave the newborn its due attention and medical assessment at the General Hospital.
