Tijuana, BC - José Vázquez, ill with multiple sclerosis, denounced that he has been discriminated against in by "The Forum" entertainment center for his health condition that keeps him in a wheelchair. "I know that we are a minority but it gives me sadness," said the man who aimed to attend the show of the "Tenorio Comedian" which has two scheduled presentations this Sunday, at 5 p.m. and another at 7:30 p.m.
"They told me that a person in a wheelchair can not attend," he said. There is space, I do not know what they have done. They told me yes, but now my ticket is no longer accessible, it does not cost 105 pesos ($8.30 US), but is at the opposite range of 725 and 788 pesos ($57 – 62 US)," he said. The ticket for 105 pesos, according to the sale on line is to watch the show in the general area, and tickets for 728 and 788 pesos ($58 – 62 US) are for the VIP area and on the floor. Also available are passes for 263 pesos ($21 US) in the terrace, 525 pesos ($42 US) in the Club area and 473 pesos ($37 US) for the mezzanine.
According to José Vázquez, his intention was to attend accompanied by his girlfriend, but the price of the tickets will now prevent it. "It makes me sad because such actions marginalize people in a wheelchair", he claimed. He said that in other areas of entertainment in the city he has received a good deal, and that is what is called for, not only for him but for the general population.

Tijuana, BC - The Secretary of Municipal Social Development (Sedesom), said that throughout the weekend City Government shelters will remain open to support those who need shelter from the cold temperatures.
Bernardo Padilla, Director of the Secretariat, said that DIF made shelters at some houses of assistance for providing the service and also enabled the space at the Boulevard Insurgents building. Between hostels which provide support free of charge, he commented, they are centers that host migrants, such as the Scalabrini Center located in colonia Postal. He stated both are DIF personal shelters of Sedesom which will work together with municipal delegations to respond to emergencies events that occur. The official offered to the population phone number 973 - 74-14 to obtain support information, as well as emergency number 066 for municipal police.
According to meteorological reports, the temperature in the State could drop below zero in some places from the shores to the city of Tecate.
