Juvenile Threatens Parents and Siblings (La Voz de la Frontera, 10/19/12 by Juan Galvan)

Mexicali, BC - For his protection and of his family a careless youth was arrested who threatened to deprive the life to his parents and siblings with a knife in his hand, in a bizarre domestic violence incident in the home of his parents located in Villa del Rey without apparent reason.

The name of the cunning adolescent was unknown, only that he is 16 years old and has tantrums as if he was 5. Yesterday was no exception to his temper tantrums near midnight. But on this occasion things changed, since at the home located in the Cerrada de los Templarios, Municipal police officers were required to remove him, citing a domestic incident, in which an armed person had threatened relatives.

Upon their arrival, surprised officers were received by residents who pointed out that inside the house was a barbarian minor and that his own relatives requested help as he had threatened them. The teenager is not an only child or orphan and would not listen to his dad. The parents pled with the police to please arrest him.

They reported the insolent brat was disgusting and while in the street started after his siblings threatening them with a kitchen knife. Municipal police officers went to the residence and assured the child would be taken to the Juvenile Special Prosecutor to obtain treatment and reorientation. http://www.oem.com.mx/lavozdelafrontera/notas/n2738492.htm

Community Patrols for Total of 44 Colonies (La Voz de la Frontera, 10/18/12 by Sac-Nicte Santos Malagon)

Mexicali, BC - With the aim of strengthening security in the 44 colonies in Mexicali, there is a community patrol now, said Alderman Carlos López Montijo. The party representative for Baja California said the Cucapah II, III and IV sections and Monte Alban estates are some of the housing developments that were recently integrated into this program carried out with the support and direction of Municipal Public Security.

He mentioned there are a number of community patrols in different divisions and colonies of Mexicali thanks to the coordinated work between the 20th City Council and resident committees that have been delivered so far by the current administration. He stressed through the delivery of community patrols, they will perform rescues in public places and generate the healthy enjoyment of family recreational activities as part of their actions undertaken by the current administration in the field of security. http://www.oem.com.mx/lavozdelafrontera/notas/n2737167.htm
