Two Suspects Captured in Sunday Attack of Policemen (Frontera, 10/16/12)
TIJUANA, BC - Two people were detained in relation to the murder of the policeman that happened on Sunday afternoon. On the other hand, the other agent who was injured in the same attack is already reported as stable.
According to the authorities, the suspects were identified as Douglas Ulises Camarena Méndez and Ezequiel Félix Quintero, and are still being investigated announced Miguel Angel Guerrero Castro, Coordinator of the Attorney against organized crime of the Attorney General of Justice of the State (PGJE). He added that he has faith in the municipal agent of the canine unit, Enrique Pérez González, 36, who died in the Red Cross due to multiple bullet wounds. At the scene of the crime were found 18 9mm bullet shells.
The Secretariat of Municipal public safety (SSPM) reported that around 6:30 PM on Sunday, officers attended to a report that people were speeding through the streets of colony El Triunfo. In the intersection of Tintinear and Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez police located the suspects, who were in a Chevrolet Silverado pick up with national plates AW21994. The officer who was injured tried to intercept the vehicle, when one of the occupants pulled out a firearm and fired from the rear, projectiles shattering the rear glass of the police unit.

PGJE Clarifies Murder of Astronomer (Frontera, 10/16/12 by Cesar Cordova)
ENSENADA, BC - The Attorney Justice in Ensenada said three alleged murderers of the astronomer, Francisco Loza Valencia, were captured and will announce the details and a clarification of the killing about 11:15 AM today. The researcher was found lifeless on September 14th, inside the bedroom located on the second floor of his home located in the gated Pedregal Playitas.
