Gas Station Attack (Peninsular Digital, 10/13/12)

La Paz, BC Sur – Not wanting to wait for a driver to dispense gasoline into a State Government vehicle, a subject reacted violently. The passenger of the official unit then emerged rapidly, came to the side of the driver and was struck by the individual. The subject then cursed and said, "Give me all the money that you have".

The subject, a young man with brown complexion, wavy hair and 1.70 meters (5.5 feet) in height, was more than convincing when he pulled out a sharp knife and placed it on the ribs of the victim who was forced to hand over 1,500 pesos ($116 US) in bills of different denominations.

The assailant, with four others, left at full speed Thursday night from the Olachea gas station by la calle Gómez Farías toward la calle Ocampo, and were then lost from sight. Local elements of the SP-60 unit were the first to arrive at the gas station after combing the area with unsuccessful results, while Ministerial troops took over investigation of the case. http://peninsulardigital.com/sucesos/atracaron-5-sujetos-la-gasolinera-olachea/91175
