Cartel Double Homicide (AFN Tijuana, 11/12/12)

TIJUANA, BC - The recent execution of two brothers, which occurred in Tijuana, could have been due to a relationship with the so-called "Sinaloa Cartel". Apparently, problems arose between the cartel and one of them, identified as Antonio Galeana Tostado.

Abel Gallardo Galvan, Assistant Attorney against organized crime of the Attorney General of Justice in the State (PGJE), reported on the case, which was first received as a report of illegal deprivation of freedom against Aldo of the same surname, but found the murders were due to problems his brother had with drugs.

Antonio, according to the Attorney General, was engaged in crossing the border in vehicles with drugs hidden in double bottoms, however the latter was seized by U.S. authorities, which angered criminals who tried to recover what was lost, but finding no recourse, executed them.

The State official revealed that Antonio was cooperating, so the line of investigation is focused on that fact. The mother also knew of the "occupation" of her son and the Attorney General said there is a pattern of cover-up in their relationship as she herself said he gave her $20,000 - 30,000 a week.

The murder of the two took place on the 4th of this month at km 159 on the Tijuana-Tecate free road near a maquiladora in the La Presa area, between at 4a.m and 1p.m., a few meters from one another. http://www.afntijuana.info/seguridad/14104_cartel_responsable_de_doble_homicidio

Missing Boy, 16, Sought (AFN Tijuana, 11/12/12)

TIJUANA, BC - The Attorney against organized crime, through the center of support for missing persons, requested the assistance of citizens to locate a child, 16 years of age, who has been missing since November 3.

The lost child responds to the name Francisco Ramirez Viera, originating in Nayarit, who has a clear brunette complexion, a height of 1.60 meters, weighs 67 kg, with black eyes and hair, a regular nose, a small mouth, thin lips, a medium front, heavy eyebrows, a thin build and an oval chin. He has a mole on the right ear, reported relatives.

The day he became lost, they pointed out, Ramirez wore black pants with white stripes, a black t-shirt, a pearl color sweatshirt and tennis shoes. The reporting party mentioned that the minor left his home on Saturday November 3 and has not returned. Relatives have already searched for him with friends without having any news of him so far.

Therefore the cooperation of citizens is requested, so if you have information or data about his possible whereabouts report it to telephone numbers (664) 1042800 extensions 2956 and 2957, the anonymous complaint number 089, or emergency 066. http://www.afntijuana.info/seguridad/14101_buscan_a_menor_de_16_anos
