Marijuana Vendor Arrested (El Mexicano, 12/29/12 by SAID BETANZOS)

TIJUANA, BC – The Attorney Against Organized Crime through the State Attention to Narcomenudeo Crime Unit arrested alleged retail drug dealer Ferreol Rangel Fonseca, 58. According to a statement, he was dedicated to the sale of marijuana in the El Refugio fractionation in the La Presa delegation. His arrest was made after Municipal police officers arrested his wife Maria de los Angeles Anguiano López, found in possession of 101 doses of the drug.

State Ministerial Police Detectives of the State Unit of Attention to Narcomenudeo also succeeded in establishing Ferreol’s participation in the sale of the drugs. For that reason and in order to identify the origin of the drug, as well as to confirm the sale of drugs, the State Narcomenudeo Care Unit requested a warrant against him, granted by the second judge of Assize of Tijuana.

Also, an agent of the Public Prosecutor, Act 1248/12/AGNM/TIJ/AP was used to consign the crime before the judicial authority. The Office of the State Procurator-General reported that since it took over the responsibility of investigating the crimes of Narcomenudeo, it was possible to arrest of criminals as in this case, where they may happen to be responsible for other crimes such as robbery, theft of vehicles, intentional injury, killings and kidnappings. http://www.el-mexicano.com.mx/informacion/noticias/1/22/policiaca/2012/12/29/639601/arraigan-a-vendedor-de-marihuana.aspx
