School Performs Remembrance Presentation (El Vigia, 12/21/12 by Enrique Rojas)

San Quentin, B. C. - With the title "Remembranza", based on the story of a few nuns in a convent, San Quintin extension students at the Benemérita State Normal School "Jesús Prado Luna", presented a spectacle of choreography from various countries of the world.

The presentation was on Tuesday afternoon at the Misión Santa Isabel Ballroom, and the countries represented were Spain, Russia, England, the Middle East and United States. They witnessed the choreographies by mentors, students and parents of the educational institution, and applauded the performance of the participants.

School workers reported that the work was under the tutelage of teacher, choreographer and now artistic director of the same institution, Esteban Angulo Lizárraga, who is a graduate of the National School of Ballet of the Republic of Cuba, and has been distinguished by presentations that have been made in the region, mentioned sources. For more than an hour, participants enjoyed the color and magic of the numbers; everything under an atmosphere full of harmony, joy and excitement.

The participants were congratulated for their effort made to the educational community of the campus, directed by Eliseo Godínez Paredes. For this activity, managers, teachers and students temporarily left their classrooms to enjoy the end of year holiday period, according to the current school calendar. At the end of the event, campus authorities gave appreciation for the presence of all who attended, hoping that this will be repeated at each activity the school organizes. http://www.elvigia.net/noticia/cierran-ciclo-en-escuela-normal-de-sq

Company Fails to Pay Bonuses (El Vigia, 12/21/12 by Enrique Rojas)

San Quintín, BC - At the end of the term, the law provides for the payment of a bonus, but the Attorney Assistant of the Defense of Labor only made a citation, although it is possible that later cases for breach of the employer's obligation may arise, said its owner Agustín Osuna Zavala.

When this happens, he continued, the possibility of citing the companies that do not comply with the payment of the allowance every worker is entitled to, is left open. He mentioned that you expect rest days at the end-of-year holidays and staff of the Labor Courts will be watching for any claim that may arise to proceed accordingly.

He said that the Attorney General will meet its responsibility to defend the interests of workers in any irregularity they face at the companies where they work. If a worker has not received the bonus granted you by the law, they must report it to the labor unit offices to request attention and/or counseling required to receive the corresponding payment, he said.

With regard to the case of workers at the agricultural enterprise workshops of San Simón, Osuna Zavala reported that yesterday, parties supported a second meeting of compromise. He noted that the first was last Thursday, and added on that date both parties presented their proposals and retreated with a commitment to analyze the situation without reaching an agreement.

The official considered that "there were many possibilities" at the second meeting for an agreement to be reached, but in case that does not happen, we will proceed accordingly. That is, that we would begin a corresponding demand to oblige the company to meet the payment of benefits to the workers, who claim their debts of two years have not been received. The intervention of the labor authority was at the request of the company's employees, when they did not get their vacations and Christmas bonuses in 2011and 2012. http://www.elvigia.net/noticia/no-exist-reportes-hasta-ayer-de-no-hacer-pago-del-aguinaldo
