3 Hours Wait from Tijuana to U.S. (Frontera, 12/12/12 by Ana L. Gómez)

TIJUANA, BC - The wait at the Tijuana border crossing to the United States was more than three hours on Wednesday, according to authorities of the Office of Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

At 10 a.m. at the San Ysidro Port or Entry, car lanes on the left side had a wait of three-hours with seven lanes open, while the Ready Lanes on the right had a wait of two hours with four lanes open.

In addition, this same port had five lanes available for the Sentri program and there was a 25-minute wait while the pedestrian crossing had a 1.5 hour wait with 15 lanes open.

According to the CBP, at 9 a.m. at the Port at Otay there was a wait of one-hour with four lanes open for motorists and seven lanes available for the Ready Lane, with a 45-minute wait.

And lanes for Sentri users had a wait of only 5-minutes with one open lane, while in the crosswalk there was a wait of 55-minutes with three open lines, as well as a 10-minute wait for Ready Lane pedestrians in 3 lines. http://www.frontera.info/EdicionEnLinea/Notas/Noticias/12122012/649347.aspx

Help is Asked to Locate Missing Child, 14 (Frontera, 12/12/12)

TIJUANA, BC - The Attorney General of the State Justice requests the collaboration of the community to locate Stephanie Vargas Aguilar, 14, originally from Michoacán, whom disappeared on November 27.

For media distribution, the young woman has a dark complexion, is 1.63 meters in height and weighs 55 kg. Her eyes are brown with dark brown hair, a regular nose, large mouth and thick lips. She has a medium front with thin eyebrows and a clear oval chin.

Unique signs include a mole on the left side of her nose. On the last day her family saw her, she wore a uniform of the secondary number 2 including Navy Blue sweat pants, a white blouse and beige sweater.

The grandmother of the child mentioned that on the day of her disappearance, she went to meet Estefania at secondary Federal number 2 in colonia Libertad, and a friend of his granddaughter gave her a letter wherein the young woman explained her reasons for running away.
