Border News Translations: Three Kidnap Murder Suspects Captured

TIJUANA BC (En Linea Tijuana, 5/20/11) - The Subprocuraduría Contra la Delincuencia Organizada (SCDO) captured three suspects responsible for the kidnapping and murder of a young woman. One of the murderers turned out to be niece of the victim. The detainees are Pedro Antonio Sánchez of the Trinity, alias 'The Pato', 30, Carlos Velasquez Junior, alias 'El Charly', 28, and Tania Aguilar Carrillo, 31, who as determined by the investigation, is the niece of the now deceased. On Monday, May 16, a call reported the kidnapping of a woman to C-4, identified as Maria Guadalupe Carrillo Bonilla. This happened in colonia Centenario at approximately noon. With help from witnesses, it was learned the aggressors fled in a white Grand Cherokee van, after first shooting José Manuel, the son of the victim with a 45-caliber gun. At 10:45 p.m. that same night, a woman's body was found left in an alley in colonia Altiplano with obvious traces of violence. The autopsy determined that the cause of death had been multiple traumas. The Ministerio Público ordered an investigation, making it a priority to capture the three perpetrators. In their ministerial declarations, the detainees confessed to working for a subject's nicknamed 'Abraham', who ordered the murder of the wife as revenge. This sparked trouble between 'El Abraham', 'El Charly', 'The Pato' and Aguilar Carrillo. On these facts, the Fiscalía del Estado decided to bringing criminal action against Pedro Antonio Sánchez de la Trinidad, alias 'The Pato', Carlos Velasquez Junior, alias 'El Charly', and Tania Aguilar Carrillo for the offenses of unlawful deprivation of freedom, homicide, homicide qualified as a murder attempt and organized crime. A warrant was also placed for the arrest of 'Abraham'.
