TIJUANA BC (Frontera, Celia Garcia, 5/19/11) - Opponents to the construction of the project at Plaza 11 de Julio threatened to take more radical steps to get the attention by Mayor of Tijuana, Carlos Bustamante Anchondo.
"If we are not heard, we will take the municipal offices," said Sabino Arellano, leader of this movement. Yesterday he interrupted an event organized for teachers on the Esplanada de Palacio Municipal as part of the activities carried out for the week of the teacher. One of the requests that he made to the city is that Benito Juárez be a protected heritage, established as a city park. He said that they have an appeal in process so the project should not remove a single tree.

Immediately arriving at the place of arrest was a Lincoln Navigator occupied by Rosa Elvia Chávez Barajas, 54, Carlos Miguel Hernández Chávez, 20, and Charles Barba Jauregui, 53. The woman was said to be the owner of the home, and Carlos Samuel is her son.
