Four days after I sent the above letter and photos to Councilman Faulconer's office, I heard back from one of his representatives. Less than two weeks later (sometime last week), the half-mile of sidewalk was cleared of encroaching vegetation. Thank you, Kevin Faulconer. All San Diegans should contact their council representatives if they have a gripe about neighborhood upkeep. Could be council people are not being told about problems...and they can't be everywhere.
