Bad Drugs, Bad Policy, Bad Government In San Diego

I see bad drugs everywhere. Drugs initially hailed as miraculous become the subject of damage lawsuits after having been fast tracked by the FDA. I have taken bad drugs prescription drugs which were supposed to help me. I took celexa for a year and it made me vomit everyday. The Doctor kept saying, “Your body will adjust.” I quit taking the drug because I was tired of vomiting.

I rejected vicodin because I got tired of vomiting. In fact I qualify as a candidate for prescription narcotic medications and muscle relaxants, but I don’t take them because of the vomiting.

In my experience medical cannabis has never induced spontaneous vomiting.

In my estimation spontaneous vomiting is not an acceptable side effect of any prescribed medication. But hey, that’s just my opinion.

That brings me to the upcoming vote March 28 at 2pm of the San Diego City Council regarding the ban of medical cannabis sales in the city. If you live in the city of San Diego drop into the city council meeting and express your anger, your disappointment, and your outrage that once again the will of the people is in danger of being ignored.

The electorate of the State of California passed the Compassionate Use Act of 1996 and that’s it. It is now government’s job to implement the will of the people. I vote and I am tired of bad drugs, bad policy, and bad government.
