The Biggest Loser. Is it Shawne Merriman, Levi, or Palin?

Celebrity news can sometimes be interesting. Sometimes it's boring. But there are a few things that involve people saying one thing about a person, that you can clearly call BS on without knowing all the details.

It's funny, because I've watched some of those police shows when cops are questioning a suspect. And it's amazing how quickly you can tell when someone is lying. There's a certain way you answer questions when you have nothing to hide. Or if you weren't involved in the crime. Or if you did something wrong, but not the crime you're accused of.

Well, locally, it's now Tila Tequila. Her real name is Tila Nguyen, which is a lot easier to type than pronounce.

I remember my mom looking at my 9th grade yearbook at Mira Mesa High, and saying "Your school has a lot of Trans and Nguyens." She only pronounced one of the names correctly. Wanna guess which one?

Anywhooo...Tila filed a lawsuit on Monday claiming that Charger Shawne Merriman got into a disput with her, about his drug use, accusing him of assault, battery, and false imprisonment.

She has photos that show some light bruising. Yet, the police didn't feel her story held up (and believe me, they'd love nothing more than to take a guy in that's beat up on a woman...even when the women are standing there saying "That's my husband! Don't arrest him! It was my fault.)

She said that he was doing steroids in front of her. Now really, who would believe that? Not only did he get busted for that a year ago, and is more likely to be tested randomly...what athlete is doing that in front of women he's partying with? Drinking a beer, okay (or, Cristol). Smoking a joint? I can see that. But deciding that some women you picked up at Stingaree, are going to wanna hang at your cool Poway Pad, and watching you inject drugs...nah. It's not gonna happen.

She said that she refused to take drugs and that Merriman responded with "You don't have a choice." Really? So, is she implying he held her down and injected...what, steroids into her? Did he stick a joint in her mouth and yell "Inhale! Do it now!"

Who are you going to believe?

I remember watching those lame Afterschool Specials, and they talked about all this peer pressure. And the thing that always amazed me when I got to school was...nobody does ever pressure you. If you're at a party and someone offers you a beer or a joint and you refuse...they're actually glad. It's more for them.

Maybe if Merriman wanted to sleep with her and she refused and he said "You have no choice." But that would be a whole different set of charges for this Charger.

Now, that immediately got me thinking about Sarah Palin. I've seen her in all these interviews and...wow, she's really not that bright. But I think her daughters former boyfriend (and father of her grandchild), is even dumber.

Now, I had no desire to talke about Levi's Johnson, but...he is going to pose in Playgirl. And he's been making the rounds of the media circus.

When one reporter asked about some negative Palin things, he said something along the lines of "She referred to her child as the retard. She would say 'I'm going to go pick up the retard baby now.'"

Well, anyone can hear that and realize it just didn't happen. Levi is just trying to come up with things to say, otherwise, these reporters won't want to talk to him. His 15 minutes would quickly evaporate.

First, I find it hard to believe Palin would refer to her child that way. Second, if she was, it wouldn't be around anyone that wasn't family.

But hey, Palin can always sue for these types of things. It would shut him up quickly.

Carol Burnett won a lawsuit against the National Enquirer when they said she was drunk at a dinner party. She won a million bucks, and that was in the early 80s I believe. When a million bucks was actually worth something.

Instead Palin, in her infinite wisdom, decides instead on Oprahs show, when asked about if Levi would be welcome at Thanksgiving dinner...she answered the way she did when a reporter asked what newspapers she reads. Since she obviously doesn't read a paper, she paused before saying "I read all of them." When Oprah asked this "tough" question, instead of saying "Come on, Oprah. That's a silly question. Do you really think we're on good terms? But, he is the father of my grandchild, so I wish him the best in life. And I hope he has a great Thanksgiving where ever he choses to celebrate it."

Instead she went on this rambling thing about how he would always be welcome and blah blah blah.

I swear, these celebrities. They're their own worst enemy.
