Athletes Gone Wild -- College Soccer, Football, and Tyson Edition

Mike Tyson was arrested for punching a paparazzi. Apparently the guy followed him into a bathroom. Not a smart move, following a guy into a bathroom that did jail time for rape. And would routinely knock out huge men within seconds.

And, we all saw the punch he threw on comedic genius Zach Gallifinakis.

I think laws need to be passed against these photographers that hound celebrities when they're out with their children or in vehicles (Whoopi Goldberg is the only idiot that came out and said Tyson was justified in punching the guy). But until these laws come out, someone that has hands that are lethal weapons, should be smart enough to refrain from swinging.

Now, one punch I didn't think was justified, but felt the punishment was too harsh...was college football running back LaGarrette Blount. The game was over, and some weasel from the other team went over to taunt him. And Blount threw a left-hook that knocked the dope down (note to football players: if you're going to taunt someone, keep the helmet on).

Blount was immediately suspended for the rest of the season. Nothing happened to the other guy. I'm glad that they came to their senses and let him play again.

Someone that should never be allowed to play collegiate sports again, is that crazy female soccer player from New Mexico. By now, I'm sure you've all seen the video.

She kicked one opposing player in the face. She punched another in the back. And, she yanked down an opponent by her ponytail.

And I believe it was her own coach that suspended her.

Of course, this nut job came out with some apology. But I'm waiting to hear her do a few interviews. Unlike Serena Williams, who is a nut job but is smart enough to smile and be polite in interviews, as well as say the right things...I don't think this soccer player will do that.

She's going to be one of those soccer moms that gets thrown out of her kids games in 10 years.

And some reporter is going to see just how hard soccer players can kick, when they try to spring a quick interview on her.

If it's the paparazzi, and they get kicked in the private parts...it might be the one time we side with her and her temper.

Here's something you might be interested in.
