I remember being in Las Vegas years ago and seeing lots of news crews everywhere. it turned out Dean Martin died.
I woke up this morning and heard that Danny Gans died.
Yeah, I know. I said the same thing. I wasn't sure who he was. Then I remembered seeing his name on billboards and show programs.
(On a side note: why don't they hand out info on shows out on the street, instead of 35 Latinos handing cards with naked women? and, on that same subject...if I don't grab a card the first time, why do the 23 other guys still try to hand me one? And are they responsible for the mess on the sidewalks? Those cards are littered everywhere. One friend told me that there was an entire year that they were kept off the strip, but they're back there now. One last side note: are you allowed to write this much in paranethsis? I need those people that knock my spelling and comma use, to comment on that).
I also heard on the news that a guy in a motorcycle pulled up, went into MGM and robbed it. And he got away with lots of cash.
I'm not even sure how that's possible. I've always heard those casinos were harder to rob than banks. I mean, at least that's the way it looks when you watch a movie like Oceans 11. They have to plan it in such detail and hire an expert in every field (explosives, security, etc).
I guess not.
Now, that doesn't mean I'm getting any ideas.
Well, not unless I keep losing money at the casinos (but I ain't stupid...I'll have an iron clad alibi).
