I really can't believe this. My birthday is a few days away, and I couldn't have asked for anything better, than to come home from a fun Friday night, turn on CNN, and find OJ was found guilty on ALL 12 charges.
First, because really, he shouldn't have been. But that being said, who cares. Let him rot in prison.
Second, let's now get the legal minds working on those off shore accounts he put money into, that he didn't pay Fred Goldman on the first case.
It's hard to believe it was 13 years ago that O.J. was involved in those murders. Which, I still believe, set race relations back.
They say OJ will get a minimum of five years. Which means, I won a bet with a lawyer friend of mine. She said he wouldn't do a day in jail. I figured he'd get 6 months, and the bet would be an easy win. Never did I imagine this.
When OJ murdered (no, I won't say "allegedly"...that's insane, we all know he did it), I won a bet with a friend I play racquetball with. His cousin was married to an L.A. detective, who said there was more evidence against Simpson than any case he's ever seen. But I knew how famous people had a way of hiring good attorneys, pulling strings, and not serving jail time.
That was a bet I really wanted to lose.
