Hillary and Kobe -- The Shocking Truth

I don't know a lot about politics. I'll be the first to admit that. I probably know more than the average person, since I read the paper each day. I watch the news. I'll laugh when Jay Leno asks someone on the street who the Vice President is and they think it's Dan Quayle. Or Dan Rather (although, I've always thought that bit was a little lame. There were probably 100 people before that guy that said "Dick Cheney," we just see the first person that got it wrong).

Since my Lakers are on the verge of losing the NBA Finals, I thought of an idea. It actually came from Dwight Perry of The Seattle Times: "This just in: Hillary Clinton refuses to concede the Hornets are out of the NBA playoffs."

Maybe she'll declare the Lakers winners of the popular vote. Although, that will be tough, with so many people (especially referees), hating Kobe. Not just because he was accused of raping a woman (and then settling with her for a million bucks). But, he complains about everything.

He complained when Shaq was on the team, and named MVP. He complained when Shaq wasn't there, and the Lakers weren't "good enough."

He hasn't complained yet in this series. But just wait. It's coming.

And, I think the same thing with Hillary. Right now she's not complaining. Because, she's arrogant enough to believe she'll be named the vice president on Obama's ticket. That will not be happening. It doesn't matter that 18 million voted for her. I'm sure 98% of those voters will go for Obama, with or without her.

I'm just hoping the Lakers can come back. And, that Obama doesn't get saddled down by this idiot Rev. Wright.

But I'm not greedy. I'll take one out of two.
