I heard that Dr. Phil went over to spend time with Britney Spears. If that isn't the biggest PR move in the world. First off, Dr. Phil is an idiot. I've seen part of the guys show a few times, and he gives absolutely no advice. A woman was crying, because her husband hated her cooking. He said, "Well, you can go eat at McDonald's then!" The crowd went nuts, and he was on to help his next couple.
Great advice, baldy. And, the tabloids have said his marriage is in trouble, so why is he even giving advice? If he really wants to help the Spears family, he should find out if they have any younger siblings, and get them away from that mother.
Then, there's Roger Clemens. Everybody with half a brain, knows he is guilty. You don't get that much better, that late in your career. He became the best pitcher in baseball history. Cy Young awards, all that.
I have to give Mike Wallace credit. He asked some tough questions (unlike Larry King would have). He even suggested a lie detector test, which of course, Clemens said wouldn't prove anything.
The only other thing that would've made me happier on that 60 Minutes, is if Wallace would've asked if when he threw the broken bat at Mike Piazza, if that was 'roid rage. And, if Andy Rooney would've said "Have you ever noticed athletes claiming to never take steroids, always have a head the size of a Prius?"
