So, Carls Jr. pulled their commercial, where the kids in class do a rap about "flat buns" as an attractive teacher talks about the world being flat. A lot of teachers were upset. I'm not sure why. There are worse commercials out there. Hell, there was a worse Van Halen video, in which the teacher got on the desk and got a lot more risque. I'm going to be more offended when I see this Van Halen tour, and David Lee Roth tries to fit into his old spandex, with his balding long hair.
Where was everyone complaining when Carls Jr. did those disgusting commercials previously? You know the ones. No, not Paris Hilton washing her car. But, the ketchup dripping all over everything. What retarded ad agency came up with that?
I wonder why, when I see some commercials, every ethnicity is represented. Yet, Carls didn't have any African-American rappers. I found that odd. Why not show white and black rappers together, united, to sing (i use that term loosely) the praises of beautiful, "flat buns".
I was telling this to a friend recently and she said "Maybe because black rappers like big butts."
It was a great point. And, I'm seeing a possible Big Mac commercial in the future!!!!
