I witnessed the paparazzi following Britney Spears around (you can read about it if you search the older Crashers).
But, when I see it on shows like TMZ last night, it makes me realize just how ridiculous it all is. She ran over one guys foot. You know what? I'm glad. I hope he can never walk again. And, I hope he tries to sue, and loses (although, he put the sock on eBay...it still has the tire mark, errrr skid mark). Starting bid: $50. He says he's donating it to charity, and there's "no hard feelings."
There shouldn't be. Following Britney around is probably making this loser a good living.
These stars should be able to mace anyone that gets near them with a camera. Seriously. They can't even walk into a store. She needed an escort out of a Quiznos.
I wish more judges were like the one in the Alec Baldwin case. He came home, with wife Kim Bassinger and their newborn baby. A guy with a camera was across the street. He walked over, punched him, broke his nose and glasses. He told the judge he thought the guy had a guy (highly doubtful...who would approach a dude carrying a piece?) But, it sounded reasonable enough, and I believe, the judge wanted to make a statement.
This is one of the few times, I hope the law sides with Spears.
