So, the last few weeks, I've seen lots of cops tasering people and hitting them with pepper spray. And ya know what? I love it. I can't get enough of it.
The most recent was yesterday. A 15-year-old girl. And, unfortunately, the cop will probably get into trouble, for punching her, and pepper spraying her, since she's a kid. I'm not sure why, though. You can clearly see in the video, that she's struggling.
You know what's funny? In the book 1984, it was all about "big brother" watching us via video. But in fact, video has helped US keep an eye on big brother. When that cop slammed that African-American guy on the hood of his car, he was suspended (or fired, I forget which). As he should've been.
Rodney King...cameras caught some excessive force.
But, why do people do things, like this women in the airport that died, and then their families wonder why such force was used? Here's why. If you resist arrest, or cause a disturbance in an airport (especially after 9-11)...they're gonna take you down. And, if you die during the struggle, I think you did society a favor. People that cause trouble like this, really, are people that we hate dealing with on the roads. We don't like dealing with as neighbors. They are unreasonable people. Yet, when the cops get a hold of them, and accidentally kill them, all of the sudden, everyone is sympathetic.
Not me. It's one less problem for everyone else.
My stepdad was a letter carrier, and he always had pepper spray for the dogs that attacked.
Well, now the cops have that, and tasers, instead of the old days of whoppin' ya over the head with a billy club when you got out of line.
If you die from the tasers, oh well. If you want to scream and yell when a politician is talking, and you aren't leaving when asked...hello Mr. Taser.
You know, they have all these "real video" and "police chase" shows on TV. I'm ready for the taser show. I'll be glued to the set!!!!
