I've been hearing people say traffic in San Diego is going to be like Los Angeles very soon. I think it's already there.
I heard an idiot on the radio a few months back, who is writing a book on how to avoid San Diego traffic. He wrote a similar one on Los Angeles. His two biggest pieces of advice, proved to me what a moron he was.
He said that you should take exits sometimes, just because the traffic is moving faster on them, and then get right back onto the freeway. That sounds dangerous (and illegal) to me.
He also said know where all your favorite restaurants are. So when you hit traffic, you can just take an exit and go eat until it dies down. His favorites are Del Taco, and he knows all their locations in LA.
Wow. A genius. And dweebs like this get book deals?
I'm going to write a book on fishing. It will tell you to avoid going on a boat, and merely where to go buy your seafood.
I don't mind rush hour traffic. Strike that. I do, but I understand it. What I don't understand, is this slowing we get at all times of the day, around Rancho Bernardo. Just because the road is curving and there's a little construction. No need to slow down, people.
If there's an accident, or a cop that pulled someone over, you don't need to slow down to look at it. If it's safely on the shoulder, keep your speed up.
If you aren't driving fast, get out of the left lane. You should know this by now. But obviously, many of you don't.
I could go on and on, but it's pointless. The people that drive like crap (which is most of you), will just ignore this. Or think it doesn't apply to you.
You're wrong.
