I heard a story about a cop the other day, somewhere in San Diego, that injured a kids eye when he pulled him over.
He didn't pull over immediately. He drove home, and was taken out of his vehicle in the drive way, and during the altercation, hurt his eye.
The dad, of course, sides with his son. Like an idiot. Again, more parents not seeing how their own kids can get into trouble, and instead blaming everyone else.
I saw on TV another cop getting into trouble, for tasering someone that he pulled over, that wasn't following orders. They say the cop wasn't supposed to shock him for that. And if that's the case, the cop should be held accountable. But, how about everyone start doing what police say? And, you won't have to worry about getting popped in the eye socket, or shocked by a tazer.
A friend of mine is a sheriff in Vista. I remember him telling me 8 years ago, about driving thru Oceanside, and people yelling stuff at his car like "Stupid pig!" and lots of curse words. I said, "Did you get out and kick some ass?!" He laughed and said, "No. What can you do? They're trying to bait you. You just ignore it."
Yet, idiots like Al Sharpton, swing into town and try to convince everyone that the cops are just running around beating and shooting everyone in sight.
And it's funny how Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson want cops held accountable when they do something wrong. Yet, when Jackson jumped to the conclusion about the Duke lacrosse team rapping that stripper, and he ended up being wrong...I didn't hear him publicly (or privately), apologizing.
