Jay Allen mentioned E E Cummings and Floundering

no peeps...not a tasty flat round fish swimming in oceans deep and shallow around the world

the afore mentioned floundering was in reference to some of my writing..especially the interjection and stand alone poetry i write

so let's see how right on the money the man was shall we

Tulips and Chimneys E E Cummings

i like my body when it is with your

body. It is so quite new a thing.

Muscles better and nerves more . i like your body. i like what it does,

i like its hows. i like to feel the spine

of your body and its bones, and the trembling

-firm-smoothness and which i will

again and again and again

kiss. i like kissing this and that of you,

i like, slowly stroking the, shocking fuzz

of your electric fur, and what-is-it comes

over parting flesh . . . . And eyes big love-crumbs,

and possibly i like the thrill

of under me you so quite new

DAMN!!!

OK..short Simple...loaded when verbal miscalculations

~~and eyes big love-crumbs~*~*

HOLY MOTHER OF GAWD!!!

why has that simple phrase never been in my repertoire???

so let's see...can i do an E E Cummings knock off of this poem

Stinkweed and Smokestacks...Nan

i like ur body when it's with my

body. it's a really old thing now

Muscles giving out nerves too

i like my body even what it can't do

i like it's hows. the pain in my spine

and urs when the bones crack and tremble

that infirm crinkliness which i will

again and again and again

kiss. i like the this and that of kissing u

i like slowly stroking the non-existence fuzz

of ur balding head and what- it- is

comes over aging flesh and big eyes love-crumbs

it's still a thrill

and under me of u getting older...but still quite so new

yes i do like his style...and if mine is anything like it...i like that too

this poem is dedicated to my main squeeze(my husband)Bobby for Valentines Day

some Big eyes love-crumbs goin' straight to u baby!!!
