Sorry to have been away so long, but I moved and had no end of trouble getting the internet activated. They don't call them Cox for nothing.
Battleship sank me in more ways than one. I have this trick knee -- the trick is it can't support 900 lbs. -- and while exiting Mira Mesa on Tuesday night my joint went out and I hit the deck. You want funny? Where was the camera crew to film me removing my shoes and socks when I got home?

A name has finally been attached to the the winner of last week's Big Screen trivia party at House of Blues. Reader Andy and I were so tickled to see how many people turned out and how smoothly the event went that in all the excitement we failed to note the winner's name. Congratulations to Phil Sweredoski who won the tie-breaker by guessing how many times the 'f' word was uttered in Goodfellas. Sure beats the hell out of counting jelly beans in a jar. Enjoy your season's pass for two good at any Reading Cinema, Phil!
